Quick Guide – 25-Piece Metal Cutting Disc Set 115 mm (SR-1369)

The thin metal cutting discs are designed for fast and precise cutting of steel and stainless steel/INOX. With a thickness of only 1.0 mm, they produce narrow cutting gaps, reducing material loss and the amount of finishing work required.

Suitable for

• Steel and stainless steel / INOX

• Sheet metal

• Metal pipes

• Profiles and square tubes

• Round bars and flat steel

• Solid metal

• Metalworking, workshop, and assembly applications

• Suitable 115 mm angle grinders with a 22.23 mm bore

Not suitable for

• Side grinding or rough grinding

• Wood, plastic, stone, or other non-approved materials

• Machines with an unsuitable mounting system

• Angle grinders without a suitable safety guard

• Speeds above 13,300 rpm

Instructions

1. Disconnect the angle grinder from the power supply and correctly mount the cutting disc onto the 22.23 mm mounting according to the machine manufacturer’s instructions.

2. Before starting work, check that the disc is undamaged and securely mounted and that the appropriate safety guard is fitted to the angle grinder.

3. Secure the workpiece firmly and hold the angle grinder with both hands.

4. Allow the machine to reach operating speed and guide the cutting disc through the material using steady, controlled feed pressure. Avoid excessive pressure and lateral loads.

5. Allow the disc to come to a complete stop after cutting before setting the machine down.

Pro Tips

• Let the cutting disc do the work: excessive pressure increases the load and can lead to increased heat generation.

• Use the 1.0 mm disc for precise cutting when a narrow cutting gap and minimal material loss are important.

Care & Storage

• Store the cutting discs in a dry, clean place, protected from moisture, impacts, and mechanical stress.

• Inspect each disc for visible damage before use and do not use damaged or otherwise suspicious discs.

Disposal

• Dispose of used or damaged cutting discs according to local regulations.

Safety Instructions

• Always wear suitable safety glasses or face protection, hearing protection, protective gloves, and appropriate work clothing.

• Only use a suitable angle grinder with the safety guard installed.

• Do not exceed the maximum speed of 13,300 rpm.

• Use the cutting disc exclusively for cutting – never for side grinding.

• Do not use damaged, cracked, or otherwise defective discs.

• Keep people and flammable materials away from flying sparks.

• Secure the workpiece firmly and keep the angle grinder under control with both hands during operation.
