Quick Guide – Folding Hex Key & Security Torx Set (SR-1296)

The folding key set is designed for quickly tightening and loosening hex socket and security Torx screws. Thanks to the compact design, all keys remain attached to the handle, while the color coding makes it easier to select the correct size.

Suitable for

• Hex socket screws from 1.5–8 mm

• Security Torx screws from T9–T40

Not suitable for

• Screw profiles other than hex socket and security Torx

• Work on live electrical components

• Use as a striking or levering tool

• Screws for which no exact key size is available

Instructions

1. Select the correct key size for the respective screw profile. The color coding makes it easier to quickly identify the required size.

2. Fully unfold the required key and move it into a suitable working position.

3. Insert the key fully into the screw head with as little play as possible.

4. Hold the ergonomic handle securely and loosen or tighten the screw using steady, controlled force.

5. After use, fold the key completely back into the handle so that the set can be stored compactly and safely.

Pro Tips

• Only unfold the key you currently need. This makes the tool more comfortable to handle.

• With tight screws, make sure you are using the exact size and that the key is fully seated in the screw profile before applying increased force.

Care & Storage

• Remove dirt, oil, and moisture with a dry cloth after use.

• Keep the folding mechanism clean and store the sets in a dry place to prevent corrosion and ensure proper operation of the mechanism.

Disposal

• Dispose of the product according to local regulations at the end of its service life.

Safety Instructions

• Always use the exact key size required for the respective screw profile.

• Insert the key fully into the screw head to prevent slipping.

• Keep your fingers clear of the folding mechanism when folding and unfolding the keys to avoid pinching.

• Do not use additional pipes or other tools to increase leverage.

• Do not continue using bent, worn, or otherwise damaged keys.

• The tools are not electrically insulated – do not use them on live electrical components.
