Quick Guide – Multicolor Hex Key Set 1.27–10 mm (SR-1291)

The extra-long hex key set is designed for assembly, repair, and maintenance work on hex socket screws. With 13 sizes from 1.27 to 10 mm, ball ends, and color coding, you can quickly find the right key and easily reach hard-to-access screws.

Instructions

1. Select the exact key size for the respective hex socket screw. The color coding helps you quickly identify the required size.

2. Insert the key fully into the screw head with as little play as possible.

3. Use the ball end for hard-to-reach screws. It allows the tool to be inserted at an angle of up to approximately 30°.

4. For tight screws or higher torque, use the straight end, as it provides direct and controlled force transmission.

5. Tighten or loosen the screw using steady, controlled force and avoid tilting the tool.

Pro Tips

• Use the ball end primarily for quick work in hard-to-reach areas. For high loosening torque, the straight end is the better choice.

• Store the keys in the tool holder after use. This keeps the color coding clearly organized and ensures the required size is immediately available for the next job.

• Remove dirt, oil, and moisture with a dry cloth after use.

• Store the keys clean and dry in the supplied tool holder to prevent damage and corrosion.

Disposal

• Dispose of the product according to local regulations at the end of its service life.

• Do not use the ball end for particularly high loosening or tightening torque.

• Do not extend the keys with pipes or other tools.
