Quick Guide – SDS Plus Tile Chisel Set (SR-1242)

The SDS Plus tile chisel set is designed for removing tiles, plaster, and screed, as well as for working on concrete, masonry, and natural stone. The combination of a wide and a narrow chisel allows for both large-scale demolition work and precise detail work.

Instructions

1. Select the appropriate chisel for your task. Use the wide chisel for removing large areas of tiles or screed, and the narrow chisel for grout lines, channels, and precision work.
2. Insert the chisel fully into the SDS Plus chuck and ensure it is securely locked.
3. Set the rotary hammer to chisel mode and guide the chisel at the correct working angle using light pressure.
4. Work steadily and allow the impact energy of the machine to do the work. Avoid applying excessive force.
5. Regularly inspect the chisel for damage and remove loose material during operation.

Pro Tips

• Whenever possible, start removing tiles from an edge or an already loose section for better control.
• Use the wide chisel for fast material removal and the narrow chisel for finishing work or narrow channels.

Care & Storage

Remove dust and material residue with a dry cloth after use.
Store the chisels clean and dry to prevent corrosion and protect the cutting edges from damage.

Dispose of the product according to local regulations at the end of its service life.
