Quick Guide Tile Chisel (SR-1241)

This tile chisel is designed for the fast and clean removal of tiles, tile adhesive, and mortar residue. The wide 28° angled cutting edge enables efficient renovation and chiseling work while helping to protect the underlying surface.

Suitable for

• Tiles and tile adhesive
• Concrete and masonry
• Mortar and plaster residue

• SDS Plus rotary hammers

Not suitable for

• Machines without an SDS Plus chuck
• Metal or woodworking applications
• Prying outside the intended use
• Damaged or worn rotary hammers

Use

1. Insert the tile chisel fully into the SDS Plus chuck and ensure it is securely locked.
2. Position the cutting edge as flat as possible beneath the tile or material to be removed.
3. Operate the rotary hammer using smooth, controlled movements without excessive pressure.
4. Work in sections to remove tiles or adhesive in a controlled manner.
5. During extended use, regularly check that the chisel is securely seated and free from damage.
6. Remove the chisel only after the machine has come to a complete stop.

Pro Tips

• Start at an edge or a tile that has already come loose to make material removal easier.
• A shallow working angle provides cleaner results and helps protect the underlying surface.

Care & Storage

Remove dust, adhesive, and mortar residue after use. Store the chisel in a dry place protected from moisture to prevent corrosion. Replace damaged or heavily worn chisels promptly.
